The opening scene in The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere was brutal. It showed Negan viciously murdering both Glenn and Abraham with a barbed-wire bat, finally bringing about an answer for the Season 6 cliffhanger.
Now, that momentous, murderous, and memorable scene has been recreated in Lego form. YouTube's kristo499 created the incredible video below, which syncs up audio from the show and uses some nice shots and angles to mirror what we saw on TV. Take a look:
"This video took forever to make," kristo499 wrote. It was uploaded to YouTube on October 27, only four days after the episode, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" aired on AMC on October 23. It's a pretty excellent recreation of the scene, and it's always a sight to behold to see gruesome things recreated with Lego.
17 million people watched The Walking Dead Season 7's premiere, which is a big number but not a record for the show. The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has since spoken about why Glenn had to die.
